1/18 - 1/24 2

This week I also talked about how the production company will affect my audience and about the finances. The production company will affect my audience because some production companies have terrible films and some have good films so it really depends on which production company you choose because most people in the audience they know by the production company it will be a good film. For the finances, I will have to work hard the hard, and professional and find who can finance the film to allow me to save while producing

1/18 -1/24 1

This week we are on stage 2 and we had to research about production and scptwriting. For my project with me and my partner the title will be called "Life" it will be a investigation of the convictionof five black teenagers after the murder of their closets friend by police brutality and the focus of the project will be non fictional elements of their daily life with the investigation of the death of their friend. Also what I would like for my film is to give suspense of drama while being a mystery/crime. Ex. 1/11 - 1/17 #2

This week I have researched and learned more about the genres I will be using for my project. The genres of crime and drama have an opening sequence showing graphics, action, images music, or animation. the genre crime has the setting locations of the night time, robbery, murder, weapons, and police force and the set location for the drama portrays realistic characters in conflicts with themselves and others. I have learned that the titles in films for drama and crime usually have big fonts, dark background,s and portrays a realistic vision of a criminal world with drama.

1/11-1/17 #1

Earlier this week we have done some research on the genres for the project that we will be doing. For my project, I have decided to do the genre of crime and drama. I chose this genre because most of the movies I watch are crime and drama besides comedy movies. So, I have researched what makes up a genre and that is story(action) + plot + character+ setting= genre. I have also researched the genre conventions such as themes, setting, mood, characters, plotline, and native structures  for drama the conventions are slow motion, narration, a song upon action, and for crime, it is murder, innocent victim, murder weapon, and isolated setting. I have also researched some examples of the opening sequence of my genre to help me with my project.   Ex.  https://youtu.be/ONQT4WT44YE   Ex. Queen and Slim opening sequence    Ex.  Boyz  N the hood opening sequence    Ex. Straight  outta  Compton opening sequence    Ex. Carter High   *These are my favorite movies by the way

2 Week 1/4- 1/10

I have researched that the purpose of opening credits in a film is to let the audience know who created the film, the production companies, and to show what cast are in the film. I have also researched the difference between the title sequence and opening credits is that a title sequence happens right before the film starts and opening credits are just simple credits show one after one. The techniques that can be employed for the opening sequence is 2d style graphics, in 3d environments, and motion capture character animation .
